Description

4 Origines is a microbrewery drawing on Montreal’s storied brewing past, celebrating both local heritage and innovative collaborations. They’re keen on showing curious beer lovers the finer points of crafting a truly great pint, from ingredients to techniques. Founders Michael, Keegan, Benjamin, and head brewer Braden united over a shared love for craft beer and a vision of a community-focused brewery. Braden supplied the brewing expertise, while the other three left their day jobs to make this dream a reality. After two years of development, 4 Origins opened its doors, eager to serve brews that reflect each founder’s cultural roots—Scotland, Ireland, France, and England.  From day one, they’ve specialized in balanced, approachable beers, each with an inventive twist to keep things fresh. Alongside time-European classics, they make waves with tea-based brews—like the popular Aprikot—showcasing their flair for flavour experimentation. In addition to crafting great beer, 4 Origines fosters a welcoming space for learning, connecting, and celebrating community, storytelling, and the city’s brewing traditions.
