Born Brewing was originally called Born Colorado, honouring co-founder Wade Brown’s home state. Born and raised in Colorado, Wade gained a love for craft beer thanks to the vibrant culture around him. After moving across the U.S., he ended up in Calgary in 2012 for his structural engineering job. But over time, he lost the spark for that career and decided to jump into something new. In 2018, right in the heart of Calgary’s Barley Belt, Born Brewing came to life. Along with his partner, Erin McQuitty, Wade set out to bring a taste of Colorado to Canada. Their beers are playful, adventurous, and shaped by folks. Inclusivity, community, quality, passion, and honesty drive their brewing process. Born Brewing celebrates experimentation, crafting a wide range of styles—there’s something for everyone. Tucked into Manchester’s industrial area, the brewery is a lively spot for events that unite beer fans from all walks of life.
