Description

If you are in East Vancouver then a stop at Container Brewing is one you should make.  Founders Dan and Terry, avid outdoor enthusiasts, and engaged members of the local community focus their attentions on creating truly unique craft beers that are honest, tasty, fresh, sometimes curious and very different but beer that you can take anywhere you want to go. They work with established craft brewery experts who provide them with guidance and know-how, part of their well-established strategy in creating consistently fresh products. They also collaborate with homebrewers on their pilot system in order to learn and experiment together, and also collaborate with their brewing neighbours to build a stronger craft beer presence in British Columbia.  Their current Head Brewer, David joined in September of 2019 and was heavily involved in recipe development, so he has some skills… This is a Trappist inspired high strength dark Belgian ale. Its decadent, warm, dark rich berry fruit on the palate with malted notes. Lightly sweet with a clean Belgian yeast character. Baking spice notes on the palate with a rich full mouthfeel finish. Serve at cellar temperature around 14C.
