Profile
Smell
A very mild nose with a touch of citrus zest and some of the sweet flesh. There’s a flat, grainy aroma of the malt but it’s mild and the hops barely show up.
Taste
A strong taste of lemon flesh and zest dominates the palate at first. This takes some time to pass, letting through some of the herbal and floral hops, and a touch of the malt. The body is smooth and doesn’t turn sour or dry, but as the finish tapers off you’ll still be tasing that lemon.
Pairing
Get into a burger, because you should on a regular basis.
Sight
Pours a bright yellow colour with a hazy body (naturally) and medium carbonation. A thick, pillowy head of foam forms from the pour.

Description
The Lagabière Brasserie began with a couple of brothers who decided it was time to work their souls out creating craft beer. Opening in late 2012, it began as a small bistro located in the heart of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu in Quebec and quickly became a favourite microbrewery of the area. By 2016, the brothers decided to get even more ambitious, opening a second brewery and producing bottled beer for distribution around the province. Not long after that, their beer made its way across the country. Their take on craft beer is that it should be a pleasure to experience, and combining that view with a dedication to attentive and precise work has helped their ideas take root far and wide. Five classic beers populate their taps with a rotation of more than a dozen select brews, covering the tastes of all beer drinkers. The Nice N’Hazy is an American-style pale ale with a big reliance on Mosaic hops for a fruity aroma and dry, snappy body. Serves well at 8°C and should be enjoyed promptly.
