Profile
Smell
A subtle aroma of lightly toasted biscuits, vinous grape juice, and a touch of earthy hops.
Taste
The taste follows the nose but has a bit more of the malt and hops coming through. The malt is mild but slightly sweet and the hops lean towards a fresh, green clipping of leaves. The mouthfeel is smooth and light, with a quick finish. After the swallow you’ll have a light taste of grain and sweetness left over.
Pairing
Pair up with a well stocked charcuterie that has some lively cheese.
Sight
Pour a dark golden colour with low carbonation. A thin ring of white bubbles rests on top of the pour.

Description
Moonlight Bay Brewing began its life as a collaboration with a local Alberta brewery and produced the Pale Ale. While the first of their offerings was the pale ale, it was quickly followed by a brown ale and Moonlight was off to the races. Struggling to deal with Alberta’s odd brewing laws, it was time to take the plunge and become a true brewing production. So they clutched their wallets and headed into the wild arena of business. But fortunately the good people of Wainwright, Alberta truly enjoyed the beer they were making and embraced Moonlight Bay Brewing with all their strength. The name says it all - Pale Ale. The first beer to be produced by Moonlight Bay Brewing, it’s a straight down the middle of the plate beer that’s refreshing and simple. Serves well at 8°C and should be enjoyed promptly.
