Profile
Smell
Very refreshing nose. It's all citrus and sweet spice.
Taste
Very similar on the palate with notes of citrus and sweet spice. It has some tropical fruit that peeks out under notes of just picked oranges, and malt notes that are balanced with hints of bitterness.
Pairing
Hear me out, banana orange crepes, buttermilk fried chicken with a creamy slaw, and house-made spice cake.
Sight
Beautiful golden yellow core with a creamy white head.

Description
It all began in January of 2013. Started by three friends, Peter Burbridge, Rozina Darvesh and Josh Herbin in the North End of Halifax. Their history shows them brewing in 300L lobster pots and filling growlers until they would sell out. Now they are happy to say they have left the pots behind and have grown into two locations complete with kitchens and tap rooms. Their mission is simple to understand: bring people of all gender’s sexual orientation, race, culture, religion, age and ability together over great beer. Also important is to do so in a space that is anti-racist, anti-homophobic, anti-trans-phobic, anti-ableist, anti-sexist, and anti-discriminatory. This is a community space for all. Aside from brewing different beers, North also makes canned hard iced teas, Cider and craft cocktails. This beer was crafted and named after North’s neighbours in Timberlea at the Brunello Golf Course. They helped develop the flavour profile based on their customer base. Timberlea is their third location and last. It is used to brew one-off batches that will only be available there. Burbridge, Darvesh and Herbin value being part of a community, being a gathering place for the community and it was very important that it was an inclusive space for people.
