Description
One of the most popular beers back in New Brunswick. This beer was one of the first big hits of the brewery when it first opened back in 1999 and one of the first six ever made by them. It’s long been a favourite with the locals of Moncton. New Brunswick has a rich supply of wild blueberries so its no doubt that someone would come along and brew a beer with them. The blueberry essence is so true, so authentic, so East Coast. Pump House has just celebrated their 25-year anniversary! Named brewery of the year in 2005 their portfolio of products has grown to not only produce their Cadian Cream Ale, Muddy River Stout, but also the Crafty Radler, which they were the first to combine a high-alcohol beer with a custom-designed fruit soda which brought them national fame. Taken over by three locals in 2020, the brewery also now distills spirits and ready-to-drink beverages like the Venerdi Italian Sod and Real Vodka Water. The Blueberry Ale, has all the warming spice notes that are complemented by the fresh wild blueberry flavour. It is real blueberry essence used here-so the juice is clear, no tint to the beer. Sweet pepper, toasted malts, combined with that dark blue fruit appeal makes this a beer you can drink all year round. This beer has a long length and delightful fruit forward finish, that is very balanced. Drink this beer at 6C.
