Description

Tired Hands is a brew-café founded in 2011 by Jean Broillet IV. What they specialize in is small batches of Western European farmhouse ales as well as American style beers.  They have a penchant for unique bold flavours that you won’t find elsewhere and have created a name for themselves by consistently winning multiple prestigious awards in the beer world. Because they brew small-batch only, it can be really hard to get a hand on their products as they make only 1,000 barrels of beer yearly at their Ardmore, Pennsylvania location (which is their original home).  Broillet has created a space that is warm and inviting. He is a brewer that is committed to crafting beers that push the envelope, while still remaining faithful to the types of beers he works with, the preference here is for dry, expressive crafts.  While the styles are eclectic, the have even brewed a beer with hot sauce called Bill Braun’s Ass Kickin IPA.  Broillet experiments with all sorts of ingredients to create memorable brews meant to leave a lasting impression.  The names are a result of musical references, random stories, and bad puns.  Since they have been in existence, Tired Hands has brewed over 200 different craft beers.
