Description

Winterlong Brewing Co. is the love child of couple Meghan Marjanovic and her husband Marko. Both were seasoned homebrewers for over ten years before they started the journey of owning and operating a brewery.  They started brewing in university and it got very serious after they moved to the Yukon and they started working on recipes constantly to make quality beer.  The selection at that time for purchasing craft beers up North was very sparse and limited at best. They started very small with a 3 bbl electric brewhouse in a leased space and brew once a week, selling growler fills every two weeks.  Now they operate a 7 bbl system and own their own space as well have a full and thriving brewing business to look after. Their life experiences come through in their brews, being focused on creativity and offering things that are maybe not readily available on the market. They don’t limit themselves to certain styles and very much enjoy the classic European examples. Inspiration comes locally as well, Winterlong chooses Yukon sourced ingredients and also foraging as well for something their backyard so to speak.  With their range of beers, there is something for everyone. Just a note that this beer is a vintage beer, and it is made to be enjoyed not just in the current months to come but also can keep in your cellar for a period of time to develop more.
